Scott Kellogg,
PhD and Amanda Garcia Torres, LMHC will provide a brief course over two afternoons on using Chairwork in Clinical
Practice. With live demonstrations, role-plays, and clinical storytelling, participants will develop skills in using this technique as a way of:
(1) Resolving Inner Conflict
(2) Healing from Grief and Loss
(3) Working through Traumatic Memories
(4) Engaging with the Inner Critic.
This webinar demonstrates the use of Chairwork in online or face to face sessions with clients.
Widely used in therapies including Schema Therapy, CBT and Compassion Focused Therapy, Gestalt and integrative psychotherapies Chairwork can increase effectiveness when incorporated into your existing practice. Participants will be guided through chair dialogue
structures and the core deepening techniques – both of which are essential
components of successful Chairwork therapy.
