Substance use is a common issue for clients in mental health services, even when they do not have a diagnosis of substance use disorder. and may not consider their use to be problematic. The illegality of cannabis and many drugs can compound their problems. We asked international addictions expert Professor Hammersley to come up with his top 5 insights from decades of working in the field of substance use and addictions. Insights that you as a professional mental health worker can use to inform your own practice.

Find out what they are during this webinar in which you can interact with the speaker and other delegates. With mental health workers increasingly under pressure, we think it is important that CPD is affordable, accessible, and gets straight to the point. Experts in our ‘Top Insights/Tips’ series work specifically to this brief.
